NOVA Open Capital Pallette is go!

I finally finished and submitted my entries for this year's Capital Pallette at NOVA Open. For anyone who's here and likes my stuff, go give me a fan favorite vote! For anyone who's not here wish me luck.

I don't really have any expectations since the display case is stacked wth absolutely amazing minis, but maybe I'll at least place.

  1. I loved your gene stealer piece! The color saturation was awesome and great composition!

  4. Thanks Greg, I was really excited about the Genestealers but I think I could have made the base a lot nicer to impress the judges.

Vin, I brought home a silver medal for a squad of Tau Pathfinders.

Overall great trip to NOVA again.

    1. I think we get a bit too carried away with the pilths or plain bases as support. You could have done a darker under supporting structure (with piping and such) and had a gene stealer crawling under neath, about to pop up through a vent in the floor. That would have added some multi-level 3D interest. I still loved the piece. I'm still super chuffed that I was a finalist! 100% improvement from last year :). Congrats on the silver!
